Last updated: 24 October 2026

About this notice. This page covers the Odd Bear Productions website at oddbear.co.uk. It is not a privacy policy for any OBP Android app. Separate, app-specific policies are available on our app privacy page and are kept updated alongside the apps.

Who operates this website

This website is operated by Odd Bear Productions Ltd (registered in Scotland, company number SC906219), trading as Odd Bear Productions. Registered office: Mastrick Works, Mastrick CC, Greenfern Road, Aberdeen, AB16 6TR, United Kingdom. Contact our privacy team at support@oddbear.co.uk.

Information we handle

The website does not have user accounts, contact forms, advertising scripts or optional analytics enabled in its supplied version. If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any information you choose to include.

Hosting and technical information

The website is hosted through Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare may process technical request information such as IP addresses and security data to deliver and protect the website. This is separate from any information you send directly to us.

Website style preference

When you choose a website appearance (OBP Original, LightsOut, TouchControl or LifeFramed), the site saves that choice in your browser’s local storage under the key obp-website-style. This is used only to remember your appearance selection across pages and visits; it is not used for advertising or tracking. You can remove it by clearing this site’s browser data.

Cookies

The supplied website does not deliberately set advertising, profiling or analytics cookies. Hosting and security services may use necessary technical mechanisms. If new services are added, this notice will be reviewed and updated.

Why we use information

We use messages sent to our support address to respond to enquiries, provide assistance and manage related correspondence. Where UK GDPR applies, this is generally based on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, or steps relating to a service you request, depending on the circumstances.

Who information is shared with

Cloudflare processes technical traffic to host and help protect this website. Incoming support messages are handled by our business email provider to deliver and store correspondence. We do not sell support messages or contact details. Necessary hosting and email processing can involve providers operating outside the UK, subject to their terms and applicable data protection safeguards.

How long we keep it

Emails are kept for as long as reasonably required to handle the enquiry, any follow-up and applicable legal or record-keeping requirements. We periodically review correspondence and remove information that is no longer needed.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing of personal information. Contact us using the support address above. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Updates

We may update this notice if our website, hosting arrangements or business details change. The latest version will appear on this page.
