The idea
Temporary screenshots out of the way. Important ones kept.
ShotClear helps you organise screenshots taken after monitoring starts. Choose when they expire, review them as thumbnails and mark the ones you want to protect.
Flexible expiry
Start with a 24-hour default, then choose a different retention period. Background cleanup is subject to Android timing and permissions.
Quick Keep
Optionally show a brief star control after a new screenshot. Kept screenshots are excluded from cleanup.
Recoverable Trash
Review Scheduled and Kept images, or manually Clear unkept screenshots. Eligible files go to Android Trash, not permanent deletion by ShotClear.
Planned access model
50 free cleanups. Keep control.
The approved release model includes 50 free successful individual screenshot moves to Trash per recognised device, followed by an optional £2.49 UK one-time lifetime unlock through Google Play. There is no subscription. Manual and scheduled cleanups share the same allowance; failed or cancelled moves do not count.
Release status
Built for Android. Still in testing.
ShotClear OBP remains in development. Actual device permissions, scheduled cleanup and Google Play compliance require further verification. No download link is available until release.
Availability, pricing and server-side quota enforcement are not yet live. Android may require your confirmation to move screenshots to Trash. If approval fails, files are left unchanged. The platform controls how long trashed files remain recoverable.
